Sewage treatment for leachates
A major problem caused by landfills is the liquids that run through the deposited waste, which seep from or are contained in it. These liquids are called leachates. These fluids are usually collected in rafts and then treated by a physicochemical process with coagulants and flocculants. Sludge generated in the primary water treatment and subsequent biological treatment of leachate plants is dehydrated with the help of flocculants.
Our technical-commercial department will help you to select the most suitable treatment (most efficient technical and economical solution) based on our experience and treatability studies in our application laboratory, as well as on the implementation of these treatments on an industrial scale.
Our experience in the treatment of leachates means we know the added difficulty of the effluents in the sector. It is complex wastewater that requires made-to-measure physiochemical and biological treatments based on the choice of coagulant, flocculant or biological solution suitable for each type of wastewater typical of industrial processes in the sector.
