Wastewater Treatment in Plastic Recycling
In the plastic recycling industries, the wastewater generated comes primarily from washing and crushing plastics (PET, ABS, PP, PE..) to produce chaff. Therefore, treating water from plastic recycling is of the utmost importance since some of the treated water is reused and can affect the final product. Therefore, the selection of coagulants and flocculants used in both reused and discharged waters affects the viability of the plastics recycling industries.
Our technical-commercial department will help you to select the most suitable treatment (most efficient technical and economical solution) based on our experience and treatability studies in our application laboratory, as well as on the implementation of these treatments on an industrial scale.
Based on our experience in the plastics recycling sector, we are aware of the added difficulty of effluents from the plastic recycling sector, which are complex wastewaters that require made-to-order physiochemical and biological treatments based on the choice of coagulant type, flocculant or biological solution suitable for every kind of wastewater typical of industrial processes in the plastic recycling sector.
